Refund policy

We want families to have enough time to begin using the curriculum and decide whether it is the right fit. The terms below explain the Try the First Month guarantee for physical Complete Curriculum boxes and how we handle other order concerns.

Try the First Month guarantee

Physical Complete Curriculum boxes are covered by our Try the First Month guarantee. You may teach from the curriculum through the first month. If it is not the right fit for your family, contact us and return the complete curriculum within 30 days of delivery to receive a refund of the purchase price.

To qualify, each curriculum set must be returned complete. Please include all four quarters’ binders, books, supplies, and any remaining materials that arrived with the box. The Try the First Month guarantee applies only to physical Complete Curriculum boxes.

How to start a return

Before sending anything back, email hello@capablebydesign.academy with your order number and the product or products you wish to return. We will confirm the return instructions, return address, and any applicable shipping details. Returns sent without contacting us first may be delayed because we may be unable to identify the order.

Please package returned materials securely. Capable by Design is not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit, so retaining your shipping receipt and tracking information is recommended.

Refunds

After we receive the return and confirm that each curriculum set is complete, we will issue a refund of the purchase price to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to post the refund to your account.

If a returned curriculum set is incomplete, we will contact you before determining whether a refund can be issued.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect physical orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If a physical product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, email hello@capablebydesign.academy with your order number and clear photos of the package, shipping label, and affected materials. We will review the issue and help with an appropriate resolution.

Digital products

Life Skills courses and Capable Projects are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned. The Try the First Month guarantee does not apply to digital products. If you experience a download or access problem, receive an incorrect or incomplete file, or have another concern with a digital order, email hello@capablebydesign.academy so we can review the issue and help resolve it.

Order changes or cancellations

Because physical curriculum is made to order and digital products are delivered electronically, contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a change or cancellation. We will review requests based on the order’s production, fulfillment, and delivery status, but we cannot guarantee that every request can be completed.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
